New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

Launch your nursing career at
Boston Children’s Hospital

The New Graduate Nurse Residency Program (NRP) is a 12-month program designed to assist newly licensed RNs in their transition to practicing in a variety of specialties, nationally accredited by the ANCC Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP). You’ll be hired directly into a practice setting by a hiring manager, then supported through a combination of classroom education and precepted shifts as you grow into an independent, competent pediatric nurse.

Whether you’re finishing school or advising students who are, here’s everything you need to know about how the program works.
